In the academic year 2019 & 2020 I did a board year at Study Association Industrial Design Lucid. I fulfilled the function of Internal Affairs & professional relations. For Internal Affairs I made sure internal structures were optimized and researched what members wanted to see from the association. For professional relations I contacted and networked with companies to start interesting collaborations. These function combined gave me the opportunity to tailor student needs to career focused activities within our association. These functions combined gave me the opportunity to tailor student needs to career focused activities within Lucid. As a result I organized numerous (online) events throughout the year.
Industrial Design Profiling
I created an interactive app that shows what Lucid is and does and explains what Industrial Design students are capable of. Together with the External Affairs of our association we showed companies the possibilities for collaboration.
Activity research: Does Lucid organize the right activities?
Through means of a event and discussion session I investigated if we organized the right kind of activities within our association by inviting members. I mapped out different activities and as a result created a proposal for upcoming years about activity organization.
